Weather in Lärz
5-day forecast
Arrive early — queues build up quickly. Have your ticket and ID ready at the gate. Vehicle check: bring your registration and be prepared for a boot inspection. Pack respectfully — glass and single-use plastics are not allowed on site.
Police controls & your rights
Expect routine police and drug-detection checks on roads near Lärz. Stay calm and polite. You have the right to remain silent. You are not required to answer questions beyond confirming your identity. You do not have to open bags or your vehicle for a search without a warrant or a concrete suspicion — ask politely what the legal basis is. Fusion provides on-site legal advice — ask at the Info point.
Of course, this is all just a recommendation — some people show up with short pants and not much more.
Welcome to our little corner of Fusion! To keep the vibe good for everyone, here are a few things we ask of each other:
- 📵 No photos, no videosFusion is a no-camera space. Pro cameras and drones are banned; phones are tolerated but never pointed at strangers or dance floors. Respect the freedom of an unphotographed weekend.
- 🗑️ Tidy upUse the trash bins for food scraps, bottles and rubbish. Treat our common areas like your own living room.
- 💧 Refill the waterTop up the communal water tanks and bottles whenever you can. Hydration is a team sport!
- 🍳 Kitchen etiquetteIf you use the communal kitchen, leave it clean and tidy for the next person.
- 🪞 Communal mirrorsGive them a wipe from time to time to keep things fresh and funk-free for everyone.
- 📝 Lost your crew?No signal and heading to an unplanned stage? Leave a note on the communal table so your campmates know where you are.
- 🪧 The totemIf you're carrying it, watch out for trees! When parking it outside a stage, make sure it's in a safe spot where it won't get damaged. It's our meeting point — treat it with love.
- 🌙 Quiet hoursBe mindful of early sleepers when heading back from the stages. Keep it a bit low-key near camp.
- 🌈 Be kind, be yourselfEnjoy this parallel society we've built together. Your neighbours are your community and your best friends.
- 🫂 Check in on each otherFusion is big, wild and wonderful, but sometimes the feelings get big too. Check in. A hug costs nothing.
- 🧴 Sunscreen is a love languageIf you're putting some on, offer it around.
- 🌞 Morning beings exist tooIf someone is inexplicably awake at 9am making coffee, do not question them. Simply accept a cup and keep on.

Kulturkosmos Lärz e.V. grew out of a collective project in the early 1990s and took over the former Soviet airfield in Lärz, Mecklenburg. The first Fusion festival followed in 1997 on the same runways and hangars that still shape the site today. Fusion is organised on a non-commercial, community-funded basis. Instead of corporate sponsors, the festival is supported by sympathisers who contribute to the year-round cultural work of Kulturkosmos. The programme is carried by dozens of crews and bars from across Europe. Each bar, stage and decoration is built by a collective — the network of crews is what makes the site feel like a city of its own.
